To my Dearest community
members, supporters, family and friends,
The Baker-Holm team
is so very grateful for all of your love, support,
and good wishes during the election process. Although
it was not our time this time, you better believe our
day is coming! We have still accomplished great things
together, and a new beginning for District 18 is still
in production. We should all be comforted by the fact
we ran our race confidently, cleanly, and community
minded at all times. You should be very proud of yourselves,
just as the Baker Holm team is proud of how many of
you came out, informed yourself, and voiced your concerns
by activating your votes.
The votes have been
counted this round, but we are a long way from defeated.
The amount of votes we did collect is remarkable. The
next time around- and there will be a next time- our
power will increase with your support. Keep talking
about Tj’s plans to others, and keep participating
in our community. Check our website for upcoming events
and ways to contribute to the bettering of our community.
You made a difference in this election, your voice
was heard. Tj will continue to make sure District 18
is always first in thought, and action in the city
of Houston.
Tj Baker Holm is a
champion for District 18 and will not stop campaigning
for progress- election year or not. We have 2010 to
ready ourselves for, or a special election may be held
at some point. The possibilities are endless for Tj
Baker Holm, and her first priority, District 18. That
is not to say Tj Baker Holm has not expanded her mission
to other arenas; Tj was recently appointed to the advisory
board for the Haitian Children - Mercy & Sharing
and has been a go-to commentator for several media
outlets in our city.
Your support has opened
opportunities for Tj Baker Holm to enact her goals
for our community at several levels. Your decisions
have made Tj Baker Holm, and will propel her to the
congressional seat or perhaps a representative seat
in the foreseeable future. Wherever her mission takes
her, rest in the knowledge that the needs of District
18 and its surrounding communities are Tj’s ultimate
motivation. Thank you so much, and may all of your
blessings continue.
